Hooton Pagnall Hall Make Up Artist
Elegant Spring Make Up – Hooton Pagnall Hall
Lauren & Alex
Being a Make Up Artist at Hooton Pagnall Hall, it’s pretty rare that I’m one of the first suppliers to be booked once this beautiful venue has been booked. I’m a little further down on the list after the photographer, caterer and florist. So when the flippin’ awesome Lauren called me up for a chat, a good 18 months before the big day before, I knew this oh so organised bride and I were going to get on! It wasn’t long when we established our mutual love of ‘apres’, off piste winter snow craziness (she ski’s, I snowboard) as well as a good cocktail in Leeds.
Grateful I call Lauren a friend and we’ve met on a couple of occasions for brunch and those cocktails!
Best Yorkshire Wedding Suppliers
Massive shout out to my quite brilliant industry pals Joe Dodsworth Phototgraphy, Lynnie from Stems Design, Barney from Shortman Productions, Viva La Booth. Also waves to Yorkshire Party Company and Jonny Ross Music. Quite possibly the best wedding A Team for Lauren and Alex!
Cool Bridal Make Up & Hair
Lauren’s hair and make up ideas were right up my street! Cool, relaxed and a little bit hot! Textured and tousled hair teamed with my signature smokey eye and some gentle sculpting was Lauren’s perfect look. It’s important that my brides still look and feel 100% confident with their look. When you’re at your most amazing, it shows in every inch of your body language.
Dressed in Pasadena by Claire Pettibone from fellow Yorkshire supplier Lace & Co Bridal Lauren could not have looked any more perfect for this wedding gown. Teamed with a delicate floor length veil and a bespoke head dress that was made from a piece of her Mum’s collection. Everyone was in awe of how incredible Lauren looked. I sat with Nana Brenda for a few minutes and held her hand, as she enjoyed this moment when her beautiful granddaughter became a bride. I won’t lie, I had a happy tear in my eye along with Brenda, who was fast becoming my new best mate.
Hockey Sticks!
This bloody lovely couple had the most incredible Spring wedding day with their romantic and intimate ceremony taking part in the chapel. I loved that they brought their love of hockey (which is how they met!) into the celebrations with the sticks after the ceremony! The weather could not have been more perfect for drinks and acoustic music on the lawn, then the reception and party in the Tithe Barn. I got the opportunity to listen to the ceremony, as Lauren asked if I could hang around until the drinks to make sure she still looked perfect (which of course she did!). One incredibly amazing lady was missing, but Lauren’s Mum Sharon was never far from anyone’s thoughts.
Friends and family and a whole lot of love on this day and I cannot thank Lauren enough for choosing me to be her wedding make up artist and hair stylist, it was an absolute pleasure.
So here we go, Lauren and Alex…..massive shout out to the awesome Joe Dodsworth for these incredible images!
Barney Shortman – Hooton Pagnall Hall Wedding
Lauren and Alex were one of the first couple’s to get married at Hooton Pagnall Hall and this place is an absolute gem of a wedding venue, nestled in a tiny picturesque village in South Yorkshire. As well as the Hall itself, there is Tithe Barn and also a chapel within the most incredible grounds. There’s also accommodation that guests can stay named The Stable Arches. This place is definitely one to look at for your rustic elegant wedding ceremony in Yorkshire.
Thanks
