THE MAKE UP JOURNAL
all the craziness of what I get up to
Well well, here we are! New Year, new decade and yes, I’m the kind of weirdo who loves January!
I love nothing more than testing new products, make improvements in all areas of my life, so heres my golden nuggets from 2019 I’m taking into 2020 & beyond!
With two children who have lots of after school clubs and weekend activities, a husband who works away for long periods of time, not to mention working as a teaching assistant. Vicki wanted a make up routine that was quick, simple and most importantly, not to look ‘made up’ or feel like she was wearing make up.
BINGO, you’re most definitely in the right place!
Does your mascara smell weird? Guilt tripped into keeping that shimmer eye shadow? Or you’d love to wear a red lipstick but unsure if the colour you have is right. Then I can help with my brand new service – The Make Up Bag Detox!
Spending just 30 minutes with me in the comfort of your own home over FaceTime, Whats App or Skype, armed with a G&T or a brew in your comfies. We’ll go through what to keep, what to ditch and what to introduce (if we need to), so you have the key make up items for day and evening looks.

Grabbing my passport and my kit, I’m so flippin’ grateful I get to call this work, especially when I get to take my snow boots too.
There’s something magical about winter weddings. I don’t know if it’s the beautiful evening light or the subtle intimacy that candlelight brings. Whatever it is, I LOVE it! Hayley and Richard’s Rise Hall Winter Wedding ticked every one of those boxes.
