There’s something magical about winter weddings. I don’t know if it’s the beautiful evening light or the subtle intimacy that candlelight brings. Whatever it is, I LOVE it! Hayley and Richard’s Rise Hall Winter Wedding ticked every one of those boxes. Finishing with a roaring fire at the end of the evening in the library – LUSH!

A December wedding, close to New Year’s Eve just has to ooze glamour and that ‘must have’ party atmosphere. Hayley’s brief was entirely that! We imagined the Essense of Australia wedding gown with embellished bodice and full flowing skirt swishing around the dancefloor. I was just giddy thinking about it at!

Being a Make Up Artist it’s super important to listen to ideas and how I can bring them to life! Making sure you still look and feel like you, at your most beautiful is my number one priority! Ensuring your hair and make up look perfect with your wedding gown, complimenting everything!

The Perfect Bridal Look

Hayley’s ideas were absolutely perfect and I got on board with them straight away. A soft glamorous smokey eye with a complimenting flawless base and subtle sculpting. Hayley and I assessed two different hair styles and we finally decided on a glamorous pony tail. Teamed with a veil and small hair accessory, which would look beautiful with the veil and her delicate pearl earrings.

Whilst I love my freckles and soft bridal make up, it was an exciting opportunity to ‘vamp it up’. Depending on the time of year you get married, I feel the make up should represent that.
