I cannot quite believe it’s almost a year ago to the day that these two wonderful people said their wedding vows in the beautiful City of Paris.

Springtime in Paris is my absolute favourite time of year, so I was absolutely over the moon to work with Elizabeth last April.  Seeing the beautiful blossom on the trees throughout the City is magical and how wonderful it looks on these images, which were captured beautifully by Brian of French Grey Photography.

The pretty peony floral arrangement of soft blush pinks and green tones was courtesy of the fabulous French Grey Events who also officiated their intimate wedding ceremony.

Elizabeth and I chatted over Skype ahead of the wedding celebrations and discussed her ideas and vision of how she wanted to look on the wedding day.  I highly encourage all of my clients to look at Pinterest for ideas so that I can be inspired by these and then we create their own individual look.

On the morning of the wedding, I arrived at their beautifully decorated Haussman style apartment situated in the 8th Arrondissement.  It was still dark when I arrived, as their ceremony was going to be held at sunrise, whilst the city is still asleep and the hoards of tourists are eating their petit dejeuner.

Elizabeth chose for a soft smokey eye, pretty blush and soft pink lips to complete her romantic hair style, which worked really well with her wedding gown.  Not only was Elizabeth was thrilled with the results, Max was too!

I cannot thank Elizabeth enough for taking time out recently to say a few words of thanks on our time together.

“Ms. Victoria Farr was an absolute pleasure to work with and her work is incredible too. I will never forget watching the sunrise over the Paris Rooftops as Ms. Farr transformed me into a bride.  Since I live in America a trial run was impossible, but that didn’t stop Victoria from introducing herself.  She skyped me beforehand, calmed my nerves, and gave wonderful makeup and hair suggestions, while still listening to what I wanted as a bride.

Victoria took the Eurostar over to Paris, France to do my hair and makeup on my wedding day. Our wedding was early in the morning, before the sun was awake, but she was right on time, and as excited as ever.  She even helped me into my wedding dress, something she didn’t have to do, but still holds a special place in my heart. I’ll never forget the look on my husband’s face when he first saw me in my freshly done hair and makeup.  She covered up all my blemishes, small scars, and added drama to my eyes.

Ms. Farr was the perfect addition to my wedding day and I recommend her to anyone thinking of using her services.”
